As Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing a book of business while proactively reaching out to ensure client satisfaction/retention. The Account Executive will be a proactive member of our sales team, working hand in hand with our Retail Producers while overseeing an Account Manager & Account Analyst.

 

This is a hybrid position, 3 days/week onsite at the Conshohocken, PA Home Office location.

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for overseeing the renewal gathering process, building insurance submission, reviewing quotes, negotiating pricing and terms and presenting renewal proposal.
  • Responsible for the retention of book of business and upselling any new lines of coverage.
  • Remain in regular contact with clients to understand and meet their needs.
  • Review insurance provisions of contracts and make recommendations for changes.
  • Mentor and development of team, including Account Manager and Account Analyst.
  • Partner with internal claims/risk control resources to coordinate quarterly claims and risk management meetings with insureds.
  • Experience in handling technology, real estate, and manufacturing accounts.
  • Meet regularly with producer to update, advise, and coordinate strategy for insureds.
  • Participate in new business presentations as requested.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Risk Management & Insurance majors a plus.
  • Prior management experience, preferred.
  • P&C license required, or to be obtained within the first 90 days of employment. 
  • Detail oriented with excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to function as liaison with clients, colleagues, and other professional staff.
  • Demonstrate teamwork and the ability to support multiple individuals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret business reports and make independent decisions.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and possess great time management skills.
  • Willingness and ability for limited travel.
